RHINO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

At Rhino Steel Doors, customer satisfaction is our number one priority. We strive to provide our clients with superior service, quality, and communication. In order to ensure a clear agreement and understanding of the Rhino Steel Doors' terms and conditions, please review the following content prior to placing an order through our website. Access and uses of this website are subject to all applicable laws, along with the terms listed below:

WARRANTY / DISCLAIMER

Rhino Steel Doors guarantees that all steel doors, windows, and other products sold through our website will be free from defects in material and craftsmanship for a one-year period after the initial purchase date. Our customer service team will replace any substandard product or parts that have been deemed defective (within one year from the date of sale on the frame of the door, and one year on moving parts. Since glass is provided by a third party, there is no warranty on glass. If the client requires a glass replacement, Rhino Steel Doors can order and ship you a replacement for a fee. We ask you to keep in mind that exposure to natural elements and frequent use is expected to cause Rhino doors, windows, and other products purchased and ordered through our site to naturally age. Although every Rhino Steel Door has three layers of protection we do not recommend direct exposure to water, any damages or changes to the products brought on by frequent use or exposure to the elements is considered an organic process that cannot be prevented and is not thought to be a defect that is covered by the terms and conditions of this site. Any exposure to moisture/water may lead to rust as this is a metal product if not wiped immediately. Do not use water to wash the doors as this will lead to the door rusting. Rhino Steel Doors cannot be held liable for any damages due to exposure to water/moisture. If rust is your main concern, Rhino Steel Doors can also provide doors made of stainless steel.

Wood, as an organic element, has a different deterioration process from steel, and Rhino Steel Doors will not be held liable for any naturally occurring damage in wood components caused by natural elements, such as, but not limited to, water/moisture, air, or fire.

After delivery, the client becomes fully responsible for providing maintenance to the unit(s) to keep them in a good state, as well as to prevent any details that may arise in installation or use from becoming a larger issue.

Rhino Steel Doors products are hand-forged and individually made. Minor differences in these products are normal and to be expected, so this will not be considered a defect. No warranty against rust. Rust is a direct result of water or humidity. Rust arises from a lack of an overhang protecting your door or window, or from directly hosing or washing off your door with water. All of our exterior products require an overhang to prevent any type of water filtering or damage. For all shower doors, enclosures, or sauna windows, stainless steel is used to prevent any corrosion or rust that may compromise the functionality of the unit.

Regarding custom color options, Rhino Steel Doors cannot guarantee that the color you see in samples or pictures of samples accurately portrays the true color of the end product, since every monitor or mobile phone display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image's color.

Rhino Steel Windows and Doors that include glass in most cases are made with the True Divided Lite method depending on the size. However, sometimes Rhino Products may use larger pieces of glass with Simulated Divided Lites that do not affect the functionality of the windows and doors.

Rhino Steel Doors does not guarantee that the content presented on this site fulfills building codes, ordinances, or regulations for any specific application or any particular jurisdiction, without Rhino Steel Doors' written agreement. We have carefully created the content and material on our site to depict our products precisely as they are. We strive to give our clients an authentic representation of the product they are ordering and expecting. At Rhino Steel Doors, we are frequently updating our content and door structural designs. As a result, Rhino Steel Doors cannot and does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information regarding pricing, services, specifics, design, images, availability, or services. Rhino Steel Doors is not responsible for any city or state codes regarding the doors (ADA, Thermal Broken (sweating or ice), Hurricane Tested, Swing Codes, etc.). Rhino Steel Doors will not be responsible for glass and paint scratches that occur, or other damages caused by improper installation methods or techniques used to make the installation.

Freezing Weather

All steel door products exposed to below-freezing climates may sweat on the interior of the door depending on the humidity level in the home. This is not considered to be a defect with the door, and will not harm the door. Given that most steel doors including ours do not have a thermal break, we cannot warrant against this issue. In the standard design, the Rhino Steel Doors are made of 14 gauge steel frames that come filled with insulation foam, to help control the flow of the outdoor weather, help prevent condensation, and control noise.

Salt Water

Steel Rhino Doors does not warranty any product, steel, or paint from any saltwater environment. This includes bays, estuaries, lagoons, and or any saltwater within a 10-mile distance.

Sometimes Rhino Doors come pre-ensembled, with pre-drilled holes, rubber plugs, and also with steel trims for a cleaner installation. Doors, jambs, sidelights, and/or transoms may come with pre-drilled holes or steel trims that may not be required to use. New holes may be required to be made by the installer to complete the installation. Will need to be sealed with silicon before assembly. Title and risk of loss to products pass to Buyer on shipment from our facility or the date that storage fees start. Loss or damage that occurs after the title of the product passes to the buyer is the responsibility of the Buyer. Designs may alter or change if a screen is added to the door or order.

Our express limited warranty sets forth our maximum liability for our products. No one is authorized to modify or expand this express limited warranty. The absolute limit of our liability is the product purchase price from Rhino Steel Doors. We shall not be liable for special, indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages of any kind and all such claims are waived to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. This includes, but is not limited to, trading losses, damages, or lost profits resulting from inconvenience, delay, or loss of use of the information related to the website. This holds true even if the damages are a result of negligence on the part of Rhino Steel Doors, and even if Rhino Steel Doors has been informed of, or is otherwise aware of, the possibility of such errors. Since the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages is not permitted in some states, the above limitation of liability may not apply in certain jurisdictions or situations. LTL Truck Deliveries

Shipping fees are determined by the weight and size of your item, along with the destination. Truck deliveries will be shipped via a common carrier. A quote for shipping fees will be provided with pleasure for your order upon your request. All we need to provide you with a quote is the shipping zip code along with a list of products you are looking to order. At Rhino, we do everything in our power to ensure that we deliver your products in the shortest time and at the best rate available.

Please note that as the customer, you are solely responsible for any costs or fees (including but not limited to storage and re-delivery) that are a result of the inability to take the delivery on the date and time it has been scheduled. The shipping company will contact the customer directly in order to schedule the delivery. For your convenience, a tracking number and any other delivery information will be given to you once your order ships from Rhino Steel Doors. After your approval for shipment, if for any reason you cannot accept delivery of the door when it arrives at the designated terminal near you, you will be responsible for any storage fees charged by the shipping company. Rhino will not be able to authorize your delivery without collecting those storage fees in advance. All residential deliveries will require you to have a minimum of 3-4 able-bodied persons on site to offload. Most of our products are longer than any standard liftgate, which is why you will need able-bodied people on-site to offload from inside the truck in the event that the driver does not feel comfortable operating a lift gate. It is the customer's responsibility to have enough assistance to disassemble the crate and take the product to the designated area. Please note that this is a physical job for more than two people in good physical shape.

Inspection and Claims: Rhino Steel Doors takes extra precautions to inspect each product prior to shipment. We take the extra step to make sure to carefully package the product(s) with protective materials in order to avoid any possible damages during delivery. Rhino Steel Doors is not liable for any damages that occur during, upon, or after delivery.

Visible Damage(s): The consignee should inspect the freight for damage(s) and record any obvious damage to the crate upon delivery. Under NMFC rules, the consignee does not have the right to open and inspect the shipping containers prior to signing for the freight. If the condition of the shipping package is such that there is good reason to suspect major damage, please DO NOT open the freight package and refuse the shipment. Contact Rhino Steel Doors Customer Care immediately and report refusal. Please note, by refusing the shipment, you will most likely wait anywhere from 3-5 weeks to receive a resolution. If minimal damage is presented on the package, the consignee MUST notify the carrier of all the details of the damage ( i.e. torn packaging material, black mark on the container, etc.).

Concealed Damage(s): When damage is discovered after delivery, it should be reported to Rhino Steel Doors Customer Care immediately. Once contact has been made, the consignee will file a claim with the carrier. Rhino Steel Doors will provide this information. The carrier may complete an inspection. Please hold the freight and shipping container until resolution is given. Claims by Buyer for nonconformance of the Products, shortages, or for any other similar cause shall be deemed we’ve been released by Buyer, unless made in writing within three days after delivery of the Products to Buyer.

*IMPORTANT: For both visible and concealed damages, the consignee must report any damage marks on the container to the carrier during delivery to be considered for a claim resolution. Failing to do so will result in an unrewarded claim. The carrier and Rhino Steel Doors are not responsible for any unreported claim. Shipping Disclaimers: Rhino Steel Doors assumes no responsibility or liability for damage(s) to the product and/or personal injury to an individual or any other issue that may arise from the delivery process.

If the delivery address is inaccessible or invalid, the customer agrees to pay the purchase order amount and the additional delivery charges. We strongly advise against picking up the order from the freight company’s terminal or any location other than the delivery address, since Rhino will not be liable for any damages. Rhino steel doors are not liable for damages other than those mentioned on the freight company's delivery receipt.

Business/commercial deliveries will be delivered curbside, or to a loading dock. If a loading dock is not available, a forklift is required. Please keep in mind that the products being delivered will not be unpacked, set up, or placed in a particular area within your home or business.

Please expect a transit time of three to nine business days when your product is being shipped via truck delivery. This approximate transit time is based on the location and conditions of the delivery. Truck deliveries to Hawaii and Alaska require additional transit time, if available.

It is important to note that the customer does not have to pay any amount to the delivery personnel at the time of delivery or at any other time. Rhino is responsible for making direct payments to the shipping and delivery vendors. Any and all payments made by the customer to the carrier company or its representatives, for any additional or existing services, will be at the customer’s sole discretion and cost. You agree that Rhino Steel Doors will not refund such payments under any circumstances.

Please make sure to contact Rhino Steel Doors to confirm your order and ensure that it is ready for pick up prior to arriving.

Shipping Destinations: We ship to any residential or commercial address within the United States and Canada. Any modifications made to the delivery date or address must be received in writing and called into the Rhino Steel Door’s office 1 week prior to shipping your order. All of our doors are shipped safely in a secure pallet system, specifically designed to protect your products.

Processing Times: Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday. Rhino Steel Doors ships from San Diego, California. Your order is thoroughly reviewed by Rhino to ensure that the order is accurate, the payment method is valid, and you are authorized to use this payment method. Once your order has passed the rigorous review by our Sales Department, it is sent to the Rhino warehouse for production. Please note, that credit card processing can take up to three business days (depending on the accuracy of the information given to us by the customer). For security reasons, voice confirmation may be required before we can process your credit card for payment.

Time for Delivery: Total time is based on the amount of time to get payment authorization, order processing, production, palletizing, and the transit time from the carrier. You can check the status of your order at any time by calling Rhino Customer Care or sending us an e-mail with your questions.

Regarding Installation

Rhino products may come in pieces to be assembled at the installation site to facilitate transport, handling and installation; each of these pieces is specifically designed to fit together correctly. If you wish to seal the joints, you can do so with silicone. Pre-drilled holes, rubber plugs, and also with steel trims for a cleaner installation.

Small nicks and scratches to paint may be present when unpacking our product due to shipping handling and those are to be treated with the touch-up kit included with the delivery of your door in a satisfactory manner. It is reasonable to expect some scratching or scuff marks as a result of handling during the shipping or installation process. This is not considered a manufacturer’s defect. Rhino Steel Doors can provide a touch-up paint kit. However, any damages caused by offload maneuvers or installation will be solely the responsibility of the general contractor and/or the general contractor's staff. Installation and/or use of any door product constitute the customer's acceptance. No damage or shortage claim can be made once a door/unit has been installed. Also and very important not to apply any type of tape on door units but rather on walls and surroundings. Kindly handle with utmost care to avoid damage/scratches to paint.

The limited warranty comprehensively covers any potential damage to the door that might occur during installation when offered by Rhino Steel Doors. Should a third-party installer be selected, any damage incurred during installation will not be covered under this warranty. However, if installation by a third party is executed correctly, the standard one-year warranty, which addresses manufacturers’ defects as previously outlined, will commence from the date of the sale. In instances where claims related to manufacturers’ defects are made immediately following installation by a third party, an inspection and approval by Rhino Steel Doors are required.

Completed Doors

Completed doors are considered due. In the event that the customer pays or does not pay for the door, the customer acknowledges incurring a storage monthly fee of $180 per door. The customer agrees that if the door is not settled within 2 months of its completion, it will become the property of Rhino Steel Doors, and any rights to the door will be forfeited.

MAINTENANCE

For maintenance instructions, please refer to the installation guide provided to you directly after purchase, or contact our sales representatives before purchase.
